Bunny's Easter Egg

Hello Crafty Friends, today I am sharing another Easter card with another image from this month's new release over at Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios called "Easter Fun".

For my card I am using the image called Bunny's Easter Egg.

I printed my image on some Xpress It Blending Paper & masked it with the same printed image that I fussy cut. With my mask in place I stamped around the image using some different paintbrush stroke stamps in different pastel colours & added some splatters of diluted Copic Opaque White. Then I removed my mask & coloured my image with Copics.  I then stamped & cut my sentiments & glued them into place. I added some enamel dots to embellish. Lastly I layered my card onto a 5x7 base.

Baby Animal Train

Hello Crafty Friends, I am back today with some D.T. inspiration for the Paper Nest Dolls

Today I have a baby girl's card to show you, using 3 out of the 5 adorable images in the Baby Animal Train set from PND.

I have used the no lines technique to colour my images up. This is not something I do often as I am not confident to do so, although I love how it turned out! I should try it more often! I then created a simple slimline card with some enamel dots to embelish & finished off with raised sentiments.

Copics:
Violets: BV0000, BV000, BV00, BV02
Yellows: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44
Pinks: RV10, RV11, RV13
Greys: N0, N1, N3, N5
Blues: B21,B23

Bunny's Bike

Hello Crafty Friends, this month there is a new release over at Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios called "Easter Fun". It features 4 adorable Easter themed stamps & a coordinating digital paper pack.

Today I have created a card using one of the newest images called Bunny's Bike.

I created my card using a 5x7 base. I printed my image onto Xpress It Blending Paper and coloured it up. I am a fan of pastel Easter colours, so I found some scraps of pastel cardstock & took out my Silhouette to cut out some pretty coloured eggs & my sentiment using an SVG file. For the word Easter I adhered 3 layers for dimension. Lastly I glued all my cut out pieces into place and embellished with some enamel dots.

Copics:
Bunny & Eggs: C0, C1, RV14, RV21, YG03, YG05, YG07, YG09

Amara with Donut

Hello Crafty Friends, I am back today with some D.T. inspiration for the Paper Nest Dolls

I have made a birthday card using the super sweet image called "Amara with Donut".

I created my card on a 5"x7" base with some pretty sprinkled patterned paper in the background. After printing & colouring my image I created some donuts to embellish, using a die set & stuck them all over the paper. Now let me tell you, yes all of those sprinkles were individually glued on, one by one! Phew! You can say I bit off more than I could chew, "no pun intended", haha. Although I love how it turned out in the end and I think it was worth every sprinkle. What do you think?

Copics:
Donut: E31, E33, E35, RV09, Y08, G09, B04, R81, R83, R85
Clothes & Shoes: Y02, Y04, Y08, RV21, RV23, RV25
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11, E13, R20
Hair: E51, E55, E57, E59

Snail Mail

 Happy Valentine's Day Crafty Friends!

Today I have some more D.T inspiration using the Love Bugs release over at  Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios.

I have made a cute vintage style post card! Remember them?

I started off by creating a post card template that was free from the Canva website. This was very easy to do & it created the lines & writing for my post card, including the little squiggley line heart that looks like a post stamp. After downloading my template, I sized the Snail Mail digital stamp in place. I used the flower from the Bee Mine stamp & sized it smaller with the added txt making sure to fit inside my die cut. This was to create my stamp for my post card. Once printed I coloured my images & after putting together my coloured flower I created the stamp & glued it onto my post card to look realistic.

To make my base I printed one of the papers from "Love Bugs Digital Paper Pack" & cut it diagnally so that the lines appear on an angle. This was then placed down onto a pink 1/8" frame.

Copics:
Snails & Hearts: RV02, RV06, RV09, BG11, BG13, BG15, E000, E01, E02
Flower: RV02, RV06, RV09, G0000, YG41

Bee Mine

Hello Crafty Friends, I am finally back after some time away from my craft room. Can you believe it's February already!

Last month there was a new Love Bugs release over at  Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios.  Today I am sharing a Valentines Day themed box using one of the cute Digital Stamps from the collection called "Bee Mine".

I started off with a box I had in my stash that I decided to upcycle. I chose some papers from the "Love Bugs Digital Paper Pack" & printed them out. I then cut them out & stuck them down with some double sided tape.

I blended with ink some cardstock then die cut the word Bee Mine. I glued these into place as well as some honey comb die cuts.

Next I then printed my images & coloured them. I printed the bees a little larger to fussy cut for my lid on top & the entire image to fit inside my lid.

Lastly I glued my images into place & embellished my box with some enamel stickers & crystals. I finished of by filling the box with some chocolate hearts & candy. The box originally had a thick acetate cover on the inside, so this worked perfect holding the sweets in place.

Copics:
Flower: Y11, Y15, Y17, Y19, G00, G02, G025, RV02, RV04, RV06, RV09
Bees: Y15, Y17, Y19, C2, C4, C7, BG0000, BG01, R22
Hearts: R02, R27, RV02, RV09

Elf Avery with Candy Cane & Reindeer Ellie with Ornament

Hello Crafty Friends, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I am just popping in today to share 2 more Christmas cards before we ring in the new year.

Today I am sharing some D.T. inspiration for The Paper Nest Dolls & Xpress-It, using the digital stamps called Elf Avery with Candy Cane & Reindeer Ellie with Ornament, and some glitter deco tape.

For my cards I have created a 5x7 mat base. I then coloured my images & trimmed to size. For my Elf Avery card I cut a strip of paper slightly smaller than my base & stuck down 2 strips of each colour of Glitter Deco Tape. I then glued die cut letters on top to make my "MERRY" sentiment. You can see a video of how I did this on Instagram here.

For my Reindeer Ellie card it was the same process using only one strip of the Glitter Deco Tape then after adding the Glitter Deco Tape I ran my cardstock through the die cutting machine using some bauble dies. I then added some glitter thread & gems to embellish.

Copics:
Clothes & Candy Cane: BG000, BG01, BG02, BG05, RV00, RV63, RV66, BG10, BG15
