Bee Mine

 Hello Crafty Friends, I am finally back after some time away from my craft room. Can you believe it's February already!

Last month there was a new Love Bugs release over at  Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios.  Today I am sharing a Valentines Day themed box using one of the cute Digital Stamps from the collection called "Bee Mine".

I started off with a box I had in my stash that I decided to upcycle. I chose some papers from the "Love Bugs Digital Paper Pack" & printed them out. I then cut them out & stuck them down with some double sided tape. 

I blended with ink some cardstock then die cut the word Bee Mine. I glued these into place as well as some honey comb die cuts.

Next I then printed my images & coloured them. I printed the bees a little larger to fussy cut for my lid on top & the entire image to fit inside my lid.

 

Lastly I glued my images into place & embellished my box with some enamel stickers & crystals. I finished of by filling the box with some chocolate hearts & candy. The box originally had a thick acetate cover on the inside, so this worked perfect holding the sweets in place.

Australian Birds

 Hello Crafty Friends, let me tell you a story. Last year I decided to plant some pretty Sunflowers to make a happy border at the edge of my veggie patch. I used to love looking out my window seeing the beautiful big yellow flowers blooming............till one day a flock of Cockatoos decided to come feasting on them. Haha I still remember them flying off into the sunset, while still carrying whole sunflower heads & whatever else took their fancy, as I tried to shoo them away. Unfortunately I learn't the hard way, don't plant Sunflowers near your veggies!

Which brings me to my card I am sharing today using another one of the images from RAM Stamps  Aussie Christmas set. It features the "Australian Birds" digital stamp. These cute little guys don't look like they want to feast in my garden!

I coloured my image with Some Uniball Signo glitter pens & Copics on some X-Press It Blending Card. I then printed the gum leaves paper from the "Aussie Christmas" coordinating papers. I trimmed my coloured image to fit onto a layer of green glitter cardstock leaving a thin edge on the bottom & top. I placed this onto a die cut border & finished off by placing of top of a 5x7 base of my printed paper.

Snowman & Penguin Sledding

Hello Crafty Friends, it's a new month & there is a new release at Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios called "Penguin & Snowman" with 4 new digi stamps along with a coordinating "Snowy Christmas" digital paper pack. 

 

For my card I have used "Snowman & Penguin: Sledding" from the new release. I also wanted some trees in the background so I added the trees from the RAM "Christmas Penguins Scene Creator Set", but any trees from a RAM stamp would work. I blended the background with distress ink. Then I added some Gesso onto a stencil for the snow falling & I also added dabs of Gesso to my trees. I then glued down some cut out snow hills with dies & glued my coloured images on top!
