Garden Blooms

  Hello everyone, I'm finally back after some time off from crafting. It has been a couple of months since my last post & I cannot believe it is Spring already! Wow! Is it just me or has this year gone by really fast? 

You are probably seeing lots of Autumn/Fall cards at the moment but as it is Spring here in Australia,  Rachelle Anne Miller has just released a gorgeous stamp called Garden Blooms. 

Isn't this image just beautiful! It makes me want to go & plant some flowers in my garden!

After colouring the image I die cut top border & created a simple card by layering image raised with foam before I stuck to base.

Flower Pot Avery

 Happy Mother's Day everyone!    

For my D.T inspiration today I wanted to share with you a Mother's Day card I made using a pretty image from the Paper Nest Dolls called Flower Pot Avery.

After I coloured my image I layered my card with pretty paper & added die cuts. I then embellished with flowers & lace.

Bunny & Guinea: Balloon

 Hello everyone, I am back again for the second time today playing catch up with my posts. This time I am sharing some D.T inspiration for Rachelle Anne Miller using one of the super adorable images from the new Bunny & Guinea Series. The image I am using today is called Bunny & Guinea: Balloon. 

This image is so versatile! It can be used for almost any occasion from Easter to New Baby & Birthdays just to name a few! I decided to make mine a birthday card, because you can never have enough of those! 

After colouring the image I created a shaker card. I kept it fairly simple & only added a frame die & some sequences to embellish due to the thickness of the card.

Lulu with Sundae

 Hello everyone, I am back to share some inspiration using a sweet stamp from the Paper Nest Dolls.

Today I am sharing another shabby card that I made a little while back & forgot to share. It was for my SIL's 40th birthday and as you can see I have embellished it with lots of pretty embellishments after roughening the edges of my papers.

Congratulations

  Hello crafty friends, I am back again today for some D.T inspiration from Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios. 

I needed another wedding card for an upcoming wedding, so today I have chosen another image from the Wedding Scene Creator. The Scene Creators from RAM are very versatile & you can make many different scenes out of the images. So the sky is the limit!

My card today was very simple to make. After placing the heart paper down, I placed some double sided foam tape onto it making sure it is where my image will go. I then stuck my vellum down onto the double sided tape. Once this was done, I concealed the tape by placing my image on top of the vellum where the tape is showing through. I also added more double sided tape behind my image & sentiment for dimension before I stuck them down.

Koala's Easter

Hello crafty friends I am back today to share another Easter card from the March new release from Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios. 

As you may remember from my last RAM post the new release is called called "Easter Friends".

For my card today I have chosen the super cuddly Koala's Easter.

After colouring up my image with Copics & layering up the 6x6 card with some pretty Doodlebug cardstock I added a border on the top & bottom of my image using a punch. I then embellished with some Sprinkles to add to that Easter feel.

When Life Gives You A Rainy Day, Play In The Puddles

Hello crafty friends, today I am back to share some inspiration for the Paper Nest Dolls.

 Summer as come to come to an end in Australia, but as we said goodbye to Summer it started to rain! You may think that is a welcome thing considering our Summers in Australia can bring drought, but the only problem was that it rained and rained and it rained non stop for a couple of weeks! To the point of floods & constant stormy weather. 

I couldn't spend time in the Sun in my garden & it genuinely wasn't safe to go out driving in the wet weather. When things start to bring me down I like to spend time in my craft room. It is my therapy

 & I am sure a lot of you can relate. 

That is why for my card today I have chosen the image called "Rainy Day Owen."

He was such a fun & cute image to colour. 

Before I coloured my image with Copics, I firstly used the masking technique & shaded the background with some distress ink. This was a first for me so I will definitely practice more in the future.
