Down on the Farm

Hello everyone! Today I am back to share some D.T inspiration for the Paper Nest Dolls.

For my card today, I am showcasing some of the stamps in the Down on the Farm Set.

This card was made for a special little boy's birthday who loves his tractors, especially the John Deere tractors. I created this cute little scene by using the Farmer, Tractor & Cow from the set. I coloured my scene with Copics & shaded the background with Distress Markers. This was a simple card to make with only a few cardstock layers & some enamel sprinkles to embellish.

Thinking of You

Hello everyone, I am back today with some D.T. inspiration for the Paper Nest Dolls. 

Did you know the Paper Nest Dolls has an adorable new set called Down on the Farm?

Today I have created a card using one of the images from the set called Sunflowers.

This was a simple card to make. After I coloured my image I used a die to cut the scalloped rectangle frame. I then layered this on a border of vellum & placed onto 2 layers to create my rectangle base. Lastly I added the sentiment & some sprinkles to embellish.

Farmer Owen

Hello everyone, today I want to share with you a sweet card using a moo-velous image for Paper Nest Dolls called "Farmer Owen". Farmer Owen also comes with a little cow friend.

I love this image as it reminds me of my childhood growing up on a farm with cows, chickens & the occasional pig for pets, not to mention the usual cat & dog.

 

I wanted to keep the farm theme so I created the background using dies on a 6" base. I remember having lots of hessian around growing up on a farm so I incorporated burlap instead of ribbon. I didn't go crazy with embellishments as the recipient is a boy.
